I'm Back! ...And I'm gone again!
Good afternoon! It's been a long break from blogging, I've had just a crazy crazy month full of big changes & am making preparations for even more changes(more on that later!). But in any case, things are beginning to stabilize so I'm back to bridal blogging! But before I get too comfy, I've got to get my bags all packed up because tomorrow I'm flying out to San Francisco to visit my sister and my adorable little niece for a week! I'll be playing the attentive auntie most of the time but while I'm there I hope to check out some of the fabulous sites, shops, & west-coast wedding style! Next time I post I'll be writing from Cali! But for now I've got to get packing! ~Laura

Photography That Makes Me Want to Hop on a Plane
The images below are from Brandon Kidd Photography, a husband and wife duo located in Anaheim Hills, CA. But these images that I'm just drooling over are from the most recent Hitched event in Palm Springs. There are so many amazing photos of the event over at their blog (Oh, how I wish Hitched would hit Minneapolis one day!) but the photos I'm lovin' are of the hip and modernly retro Ace Hotel in Palm Springs! If I'm ever in town this is where I want to stay!

Winter Madness
On Saturday we hosted our big Christmas party for all of our friends. It was a smash success and good times were had by all! Even though the real Christmas isn't actually for a few days, since we party-ed hardy, I almost feel like it's over already. I find I've been skipping ahead in my mind to New Years (and the inevitable resolutions) and to all that the next few months have in store. In Minnesota that means we have almost 3 more months of snow to look forward to. We have already had the 5th most sever blizzard in MN's recorded history, plus another smaller one. The snow banks are over 4 feet high, roads are narrowed and tricky, and my back is sore from all the shoveling. In short, I've acquired winter madness early this year! Typically it's mid-January before my craving to travel to warmer places sets in, but it's hitting me hard right now! I wont spill the beans, but there's been chatter between the husband and I about the possibility of a trip far south to warm sandy beaches! With that in mind, here's some eye candy to help calm your own winter madness and to inspire the travel bug. {images via Design is Mine}

I want to go to there!

If you had unlimited money for your honeymoon, where would you go? In MN I'm about as far from the ocean as you can get so I'm always dreaming of the beach. But I'd also like to go somewhere a little more exotic. An ocean side spa sounds about the right pace for me. The photos below are from the Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa. It's located on Arossim Beach in South Goa, India. Looks about perfect!
