Unhappy Friday: Goodbye little Groucho

Late in the night our sweet little Groucho was taken away from us.  It was very sudden and unexpected.  A stoke or a seizure.   He was a special cat who stole the heart of anyone he met.  I can hardly believe that he's gone.  He's now in Kitty Heaven drinking from the milk pond, eating from the salmon trees and going to mouse rodeos. RIP baby Groucho.  There will never be another one like you.  

Vintage Vogue Covers

Just for funzies I thought I post some of what I consider the most fabulous of vintage Vogue magazine covers from the 1950's & 60's!  Besides just looking at the fashion and make-up, notice how clean and uncluttered they are, not at all like the covers today.  The photography was really allowed to speak for itself.  Enjoy!

Garden Wedding Mood Board

It's about 8 degrees outside this morning in Minneapolis with a -7 degree wind chill.  Needless to say, I'm glad to work from home today and not have to go out into it!   Still I'm starting to get really bogged down by all the snow and cold so I thought today I'd give myself a tiny break and do a inspiration board for a summer garden wedding!  Until I can get myself over to the Como Conservatory to be surrounded by lush green tropical plants, this will have to do!
