Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone. I have a TON of work to get done before Monday & it's also CouchFest so this is not going to be my most relaxing weekend to say the least!  With that in mind, a few scenes from the workroom over the last couple weeks.

Pretty Chalkboards!

I'm sure if you frequent design or wedding blogs you've already been seeing some really pretty chalkboard signs.  They are so great for party menus and in my case, beer menus!  I found an old mirror with a cool frame at a thrift store and used chalkboard spray paint on the glass mirror.  Super easy!  Now I just need to learn calligraphy so I can make mine as pretty as the pros!  Here are some images of my favorite chalkboard signs.

Workwear Wednesday

We had record heat in MN yesterday, 102 degrees!  It was a great day to bust out a skirt or sun dress since pants would have been unbearable!  So today's Work-wear Wednesday theme is sun dresses you can wear on the job. Usually sun dresses are too casual for an office setting but with clever accessories you can dress them up a bit for work and switch to casual mode on your way to happy hour!

Monday Monday

Good morning all!  I hope you had a good weekend!  Mine was quite good.  Our cake-off party was a hit (pics to come later) and I got a chance to hit the farmers market, go bike riding with my sweety and eat some sushi!  All in all a great weekend!  Today in Minneapolis it's already 82 degrees at 11am so it's looking like it's going to be a hot one!  I wish I wish I could spend my day floating in one of the city lakes but alas, I have work to do.  And at that, I'll leave you!
