Great Graphic Design

I need a haircut before the weekend and I'm between stylists, which just stinks.  If there was a salon with as awesome identity design as Fast Eddie's Barber Shop, created by graphic designer Richard Arthur Stewart, I'd be there! 

Pretty Chalkboards!

I'm sure if you frequent design or wedding blogs you've already been seeing some really pretty chalkboard signs.  They are so great for party menus and in my case, beer menus!  I found an old mirror with a cool frame at a thrift store and used chalkboard spray paint on the glass mirror.  Super easy!  Now I just need to learn calligraphy so I can make mine as pretty as the pros!  Here are some images of my favorite chalkboard signs.

Design Trend: Triangles

Okay if you haven't noticed the whole triangle graphics trend by now you've probably been living under a rock somewhere.  They are all over the place, in fashion, interior design, graphic design, stationary, even jewelry design.  Here's a round up of some of my favorites! (click to enlarge)
