Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm excited because tomorrow my kickstarter project hits it's deadline and we have funded 177% of it's goal!  Yay!  I want to give a big huge thank you to everyone who's donated and who's helped spread the word!  I'm also excited because I did a test listing of one of the new items for Laura Whitney Couture in my etsy shop and it sold within a week to a local Minneapolis woman!  I'll take it as a good sign!  Well I've got to go now, lots of work to do!!!!  Hope you all have a great spring weekend!

Workwear Wednesday

So in Minneapolis it's that tricky time of year when the weather is just totally jacked up.  Sunday was a cold, gloomy 34 degrees and today is sunny with highs in the 60's (please, oh please let it stick!).  It's a transitional time as far as clothing goes; dreaming about sleeveless dresses while being not quite ready to put away the sweaters.  So today's Workwear Wednesday is about transitioning business casual from spring to summer.  {images via pinterest}

long sleeve t-shirt dress & a nautical necklace to dress it up
Cardigan & ballet flats are classic biz-casual staples
How classic is this calf grazing wool skirt! Perfect for the chillier spring days.
Okay, this is probably my absolute workwear ideal!  Right down to the hairstyle!  Very stylish & pulled together yet comfortable.
3/4 sleeves and layers
light weave sweater with a midi-skirt
Another midi with 3/4 sleeves.

Monday Monday

Okay so it's Monday & I'm finding myself saying, "Wait. What the heck happened to my weekend?"  The answer is I worked thru Saturday and Sunday flew by so fast before I knew it, it was time for bed.  I'll be honest. I'm not in the greatest mood this morning.  Our Mayday in Minneapolis was a frightful 34 degrees and there were even a couple snow flakes spotted.  On this gloomy Monday it feels more like October than May!  So to add some cheer to the day I'm swiping some beautiful floral photos from 100 Layer Cake's post of an Atlanta wedding.  The flowers are just too pretty for words and you can see the full post here.
